HOA communities and the rules that come with them
A good part of Boynton lives inside an association, and that changes a door job. The replacement panel usually has to match a color the board approved years ago, and in some communities the opener and the gate remote have to talk to the same system. We check that before ordering anything, so a new door does not turn into a letter from the HOA.
55-plus communities: doors that get used more than you think
In Hunters Run, Leisureville, Aberdeen and the Valencia communities we see the same pattern: a door that opens six or eight times a day, every day, for years. That is a spring at the end of its cycle count long before the house looks old. A tune-up catches it; a snapped spring on a Sunday does not have to be the way you find out.

Boynton has more gated entrances than almost anywhere we work. Most calls are the same handful of faults: a loop detector that stops seeing cars, an arm that drifts out of alignment, a control board hit by a surge in the summer. We fix the operator and the gate structure, and we tell the board in writing what failed.
